Interesting video, it's nice to help other people but why do EU-taxpayers have to pay to clean up the mess of old fishing boats from others? What is the benefit for Europe?
The Benifits for Europe are immeasurable. You gain fishing rights. We all get cleaner water, you strengthen ties to a foreign country. The narrow mindedness of the right is comical. You all think that you don’t depend on small countries like this for the luxuries that you take for granted everyday. Globalism is responsible for most of these luxuries. Go join an isolationist country like North Korea. And watch your lifestyle dissolve before your eyes. Access to the world is key to your lifestyle.
No mohamadian superiority complex over Black's is going without confronting. If your old enough you'll know that original inhabitants of Mauritania have been taken advantage of long before any westerners. Ignorance is bliss, but deadly!
Yes, it may well sound harsh. This is not an area in the EU. I do not see why my money that I pay in taxes should be used to clean up that area. That's not my problem. It's not me who created it, they created it, their problem. Then they also have to pay for it themselves. Yes, it may well be, polluting that area is still not my problem. My tax money should not be spent on cleaning up another man's country. (fuck the EU)
The IMO shouldn’t recognize any vessel that hasn’t posted at bond when launching that pays for its eventual recycling. Unbounded vessels shouldn’t be allowed in any port .

You mean Russia/USSR. Russia drained the Aral sea.
EXACTLY what I was going to say. Also the point I stopped watching.
Without putting too fine a point on it - the waters that were diverted remain in the same countries as the Aral sea. They could put the water back...

It becomes one if it's been there long enough.
